In 2 Timothy 2:1-3 Paul encourages Timothy to be strong in the grace that is in Christ… and to endure hardness as a good solider!Paul knew that as a young person in Christ, Timothy was going to face challenges because of his youth and his stand in Christ.In today’s culture, our youth need to know their belief in Christ will be challenged…they also need to know where to get the strength to stand…that strength is in Jesus and the message of the Cross.
